Cabot Learning Federation Post 16 students, as part of their growing social activism and awareness, organised a cake sale to raise money for the Palestine aid relief fund.
The students also arranged for a henna artist to visit for staff and visitors to the Post 16 centre in Kingswood to enjoy.
All monies raised were donated to aid efforts around the ongoing conflict in Palestine.
Students also wrote key messages for their assemblies and parent communications about the historical and political landscape involving Palestine and Israel.
Post 16 Student Support & Safeguarding Lead, Lana Crosbie said: “We are very proud of our students, and we hope that they will stage more events in the future to raise money for more worthy causes.”
