The Hanham Repair Cafe celebrated its second birthday in February, marking two years of bringing people together to save money, reduce waste and share practical skills — all powered entirely by volunteers.
Since launching in February 2024, the repair cafe has:
● Looked at 529 items brought in for repair
● Welcomed over 400 visitors
● Contributed 465 volunteer hours
Of the 529 items brought in to the Repair Cafe 60 per cent were fixed on the day with a further 27 per cent being repairable with more time or spare parts and just 11 per cent being deemed as unrepairable.
