I would like to share a story about a challenge that I have set myself this year to help promote 30 mins of exercise a day to help those who suffer with mental health issues and those who just want to try and better themselves physically and mentally.
My challenge is to run at least 5km a day (which takes around 30 minutes) with the occasional half marathon and tough mudder along the way.
We have also set up a run/walk club every Friday which starts from the Chew Valley Distillery located in Bitton just up the road from the railway station.
This Friday run club is more about the social side and we encourage people to talk not only while running but when back at the Distillery over a drink and every two weeks some food from the food truck that we have in attendance.
We are always looking for more people who would like to join and would love to be able to promote such a club through you and your paper.
