MAJESTIC Gymnastics is celebrating the best results in its history at the British TeamGym Championships.
It is especially satisfying for the club following a challenging year in which it has moved to a new headquarters.
Delays to the work on the base at the former Grange school in Warmley disrupted training routines ahead of the two-day competition in Newcastle.
Nevertheless the gymnasts and their coaches emerged with a clutch of successes.
The senior women’s team secured Majestic Gymnastics’ first British Gold Medal in the category. Their performance has earned them the honour of representing Great Britain in the Mid European Championships in Italy in November 2023.
Other achievements were:
1. Primary Challenge – silver medal
2. Youth National – 6th place
3. Junior Mixed – bronze medal
4. Junior Woman – bronze medal.
