Bitton’s first Scarecrow Trail, held over the weekend of 2nd and 3rd May, proved to be a huge success, bringing the community together and delighting visitors of all ages.
With 20 scarecrows displayed across the village, all inspired by children’s book characters, residents, families and local businesses embraced the event with creativity and enthusiasm. Despite some uncertain weather, the event saw a great turnout, with visitors guessing each character and voting for their favourites.
Stick Man was awarded first place, with Supertato and The Scarecrows’ Wedding taking joint second place. The trail also raised valuable funds for Bitton Playgroup.
